Clinical Staff cannot take outside calls whilst holding surgeries or clinics. Telephone requests for advice or information should be made before 11.00am. Receptionists will take details and, if appropriate, the Clinician will call back after the morning surgery, usually between 11.00am and 12.00pm, although it may be later if the surgery runs over.
Please make sure you are available when they ring as they will not leave a message unless you’re answerphone message clearly says your name, for reasons of patient confidentiality, nor will they make any further calls.
