KENMORE PATIENTS GROUP MEETING
THURSDAY 23 MAY 2024
Present Andrew Blain, Hazel Robinson, Fran Watson, Di McVeigh, Dr. Khan, Cathy Starkey.
Apologies Tomi Komoly. Peter Davenport, Angela Philpott, Lynne Garner.
After a discussion with Dr. Khan, the Group decided that we would arrange for all Clinical Staff to have cards about joining the Patients Group available on their desks and the Poster would be displayed on the Patients Group page of the Practice Website.
Dr. Khan said that the TV Screen in the Waiting Rooms is to be brought up to date, based on the work that Hazel and Andrew have done and that she is going to explore the possibility of bringing someone in to work on Social Media on the Website.
Andrew told the Group that the Ambulance Service is no longer able to take patients to local hospitals, due to the demand for their service. He had identified 3 local services that can be used by patient, the details of which are available from Reception and on the Website.
Dr. Khan said that the Practice would like to get feedback from patients about the services provided by the Practice and asked that the Group encourage patients to let them know about their experiences.
The Practice are going ahead with the training on Online Consulting for patients who are not familiar with the internet and this may now include how to use the NHS App.
Andrew and Tomi had attended the recent Away Afternoon and heard interesting talks on Life Style Prescribing, How to make the Practice Greener and Sleep Hygiene.
Posters seeking new members to join the Group are now displayed in both Waiting Rooms.
