To ensure the phlebotomist carries out the appropriate test for you, you will need to get authorisation in advance, by a Clinician or hospital consultant.
Test results
As a general rule we will not contact you about results that are normal. To ensure continuity of care, all clinical staff have access to your results.
If you are registered for the Online Service and would like to be able to view your results then please advise Reception who will open up that facility.
Pregnancy testing
For a free pregnancy test, a urine sample must be supplied in a suitable container. Allow three days for results to be returned to the surgery from Macclesfield Hospital. Routine same-day pregnancy tests are not provided by the practice, but this service can be purchased from local pharmacies.
