Building Work 2012
The building work to construct Kenmore’s extension will begin approximately mid February 2012 and will last for up to 40 weeks. Everyone at Kenmore is looking forward to the prospect of new facilities once it is all complete.
During this time there will be a lot of upheaval and we would appreciate your support during this.
As you are already aware car parking is very tight and this will be increasingly difficult during construction. The whole of the rear of the car park will be a builder’s compound and the Albert Road exit will be closed. The Alderley Road entrance will also be used as a temporary exit for the whole duration of the building works. Due to space restraints and Health and Safety issues the only parking on site will be for doctors. There will only be a disabled parking bay available and a drop off and pick up area for patients with mobility difficulties.
Pedestrian access will only be from the Alderley Road entrance and a pathway to the temporary main entrance will be made available.
There will be a disabled parking space available on the left hand side of the car park as you drive in. Disabled access to the building will be through the current pharmacy.
The pharmacy will temporarily be relocating to a porta-cabin in the car park during construction before moving in to part of the ground floor at Kenmore.
There will be temporary toilet facilities available in the car park for the use of patients
